Some of what you see on BaseAcross was gathered by other people and shared under licences that ask for credit. This page gives that credit, and tells you where to check the original.

01

Startup credits and offers

The startup credits, discounts and programmes on your rewards page come from StartupPerks, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence. The credit they ask for, in their words: Data from StartupPerks (https://startupperks.co), licensed CC BY 4.0.

We keep a copy of that catalogue and check each offer against what we know about your company, so we can leave out the ones you clearly can't get. We don't set the terms of any offer, and we aren't a party to them. Offers change without notice, even to us, so confirm with the company making the offer before you rely on it.

The company names, logos and trademarks in that catalogue belong to those companies. The licence above doesn't give anyone rights in them, and we don't claim any.

02

Country and state information

Country names and codes come from the Unicode Common Locale Data Repository, so the name on a filing matches what a bank or a state form expects. Filing fees, yearly charges and deadlines come from the states’ own published schedules, and we check them against those schedules. The pricing page shows when they were last checked.

Agreement templates

The agreement templates you can start from in the app are Common Paper standard agreements: the Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement, version 1.0, the Independent Contractor Agreement, version 1.0, the Professional Services Agreement, version 1.1 and the Cloud Service Agreement, version 2.1. All are used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence.

We print their standard terms exactly as published. The cover page, where you fill in the details, is laid out by us so it can be signed in the browser, and each document says so. We're not a law firm, and we don't choose any term for you.

Open source

BaseAcross is built on a lot of open source software, each piece under its own licence. If you need the full list for a compliance review, email hello@baseacross.com and we'll send it.
