Add-on · Expedited filing
Get your company approved sooner.
Nothing else can start until the state approves your company, not the EIN and not the bank account. In Delaware, expedited filing buys the state's own next-day service, so the certificate comes back the next business day instead of in two to three weeks. Wyoming approves an online filing the day it arrives, so there we put yours at the front of our next batch.

01In each state
What does expedited filing buy in each state?
Delaware publishes no standard processing time, and in practice a filing takes two to three weeks. The Division of Corporations sells its own expedited services, and we buy the next-day one for you. Delaware charges $50 for it, which we pass through at cost on its own line. Our $59 pays for buying it, chasing it and getting the certificate back to you.
Wyoming has nothing to buy. Its law makes no provision for an expedite, and the state approves an online filing as soon as it's submitted. What $39 gets you there is our own hand on it: we file yours ahead of our next batch, so the company exists the same day you order.
| Usual wait | With expedited filing | Our fee | State's fee | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Delaware | two to three weeks | Next business day | $59 | $50 |
| Wyoming | Our next batch, then the same day it is filed | Filed first, approved the same day | $39 | None |
02Worth it?
When is it worth paying for?
When a date is waiting on the company. The EIN can only be applied for once the state has approved it, and the bank account waits on the EIN, so every day the filing sits in a queue pushes everything after it back by a day.
In Delaware that can be two or three weeks, and it's the difference that matters most. In Wyoming the gain is hours, sometimes a day, so it's only worth it if you need the company today. If you want the whole first stretch shorter, the expedited EIN usually saves more time than this does.

Delaware's next-day service returns the approved certificate the next business day. Without it, filings take two to three weeks in practice, and Delaware publishes no standard time.
No. Wyoming's law doesn't provide for one, and it approves online filings as they arrive. For $39 we file yours ahead of our next batch, so it's approved the same day.
No. Delaware's $50 is passed through at cost and shown on its own line, so you pay $109 in all. Wyoming charges nothing for it.
Scale. On Launch, Build and Operate it's an optional extra in the order form.
Only by the days it saves on the state's approval. The EIN is applied for the day the company is approved, and the IRS then takes its own time. The expedited EIN is a separate add-on that shortens that part.
