Yes, as far as US law goes. It doesn't require an LLC's owners to be US citizens or residents, and formation, the EIN and the bank applications all happen remotely. On the Bangladeshi side, Bangladesh Bank's rules on payments abroad and the NBR's rules on income apply. Owning a US company doesn't give you a US visa.

Paying for a company abroad needs it, under the Foreign Exchange Regulation Act. Since March 2025, a general permission lets your bank send up to USD 10,000 to set up one company abroad, without a separate application to Bangladesh Bank. Your bank has to be satisfied the business is innovative, viable and linked to bringing money back to Bangladesh.
+
You apply through your bank, with money of your own rather than a loan. Your bank reports the company to Bangladesh Bank within a month of its formation, and no later than six months after the money left. Every year you send a report and the company's audited accounts, and money you don't use comes back.
+
Cards issued in Bangladesh allow online payments of up to USD 300 a transaction, within your yearly card entitlement. Paying to set up a company abroad is also an investment under Bangladesh Bank's rules. Ask your bank about the startup permission before you pay.
+
Not necessarily. Banks credit freelancers' foreign payments on electronic evidence, such as contracts, invoices or platform statements. You can keep up to half of ICT earnings in a dollar retention account. A US company is for Stripe, US contracts and platforms that need one.
+
It's exempt until 30 June 2027 under the Income Tax Act's Sixth Schedule, which the Finance Act 2026 widened to all freelancing and content creation. All the business's income, spending and investment have to go through bank transfers. You still file a return, because exempt income doesn't remove that duty.

Launch starts at $351.40: $249 for the plan plus $102.40 for the Wyoming filing. The plan and Wyoming's minimum yearly charge then total $309 a year. Your tax adviser's fees, US return preparation, bank charges in Bangladesh and any audit Bangladesh Bank asks for are separate. Wyoming's license tax can be more than its $60 minimum.

A Wyoming LLC usually suits an owner-run business selling to customers abroad. A Delaware C-Corp suits raising from investors who want shares. Bangladesh Bank's startup permission covers one company abroad either way. Nonresident aliens can't hold shares in an S-corporation.
+
Yes. Without an SSN or ITIN, the application goes on Form SS-4 instead of the IRS's online tool. We prepare it after the company is formed, and the IRS issues the number. Your Bangladeshi TIN isn't part of it.
+
Each stage has its own clock. Wyoming's published turnaround is same day once a complete filing is accepted. Our ordinary EIN estimate is six to eight weeks after the application, or two to three weeks with the $199 expedited option. Your bank's checks, banks, payment providers and Stripe each set their own times. These are estimates, not promises.
+
No. Mercury's prohibited-countries list includes Bangladesh, and it goes by where you live, not your passport.
+
Start with Payoneer, which serves Bangladesh and pays out to bKash, and ask whether it will open an account in your US company's name. Wise says it can't give USD account details to founders living in Bangladesh. Relay doesn't bar Bangladesh, but it asks every owner for a physical US address. Each provider reviews the company and its owners and can decline.
+
It lets you apply. Stripe doesn't list Bangladesh, but a US LLC with an EIN and a US bank account can apply for a US Stripe account. Stripe reviews the business and the person behind it, and approval isn't guaranteed.
+
Generally not. Pay for work you do in Bangladesh is generally not US-source income, so a single-owner LLC with no US office or staff often owes no US income tax on it. It still files Form 5472 with a pro forma Form 1120 when it has reportable transactions with you.
+
As a resident you report income from anywhere, and your return lists assets in Bangladesh and abroad, including your share of the company. Owning assets abroad or being a shareholder director also means filing the statement of assets and liabilities. A US company run wholly from Bangladesh can be resident here for tax.
+
Yes, it's in force. It caps US withholding on interest and royalties at 10%, and on dividends at 15%, or 10% at the treaty's direct-holding rate. Pay for work you do in Bangladesh generally isn't US-source income anyway.
+
On Launch and Operate, we add deadlines and reminders; you or your accountant file the federal returns. Managed annual state compliance is an optional $149 service fee a year, with the state's charge separate. Your NBR return and anything Bangladesh Bank needs are for you, your bank and your tax adviser.
+
Through a bank or provider that supports your company and pays out in Bangladesh. Pay for your own work can come in through the freelancer route, and profit from a company set up under the startup permission comes home through your bank. Bangladesh Bank says export earnings kept abroad breach the foreign exchange law, so agree with your adviser how much the company keeps in the US.

US-created companies are exempt under FinCEN's current BOI rule, effective 14 August 2026. A company formed outside the US and registered to do business there is a different case. Banks still collect ownership details for their own checks.
