01 · Explained

USPS Form 1583, for a founder abroad.

Every virtual mailbox needs one. You identify yourself and the company, list who may receive mail, and sign in front of the agency or a notary, with two forms of identification, one with a photo. Most agencies arrange this online for customers abroad.

Without it, the agency can't accept the company's post. Keep a copy with the company's records, and update it if the people allowed to receive mail change.
