Wyoming annual report licence tax, for a founder abroad.
The annual report is filed online with the Wyoming Secretary of State and asks for the company's addresses and the value of its assets in Wyoming, not its owners. The licence tax is $60, or $0.0002 per dollar of Wyoming assets if that's more, so any company with $300,000 or less of assets there pays $60.
- When: on the first day of the month the company was formed in, every year from the year after. You can file up to 120 days early.
- How: online with a Visa or Mastercard; the card processor adds a small convenience fee.
- Reminders: the state emails 60, 30 and 10 days ahead from SOS_AnnualReports@wyo.gov.
- If it's late: the company is delinquent from the second day of the next month, and after 60 days the state can start dissolving it.
The Wyoming LLC page shows what the Wyoming annual fee costs next to the cost of forming.
