What Wise costs your US company.

Nothing for domestic US payments to your USD account details, which is how a US client or platform pays by ACH. A USD wire or Swift payment costs $6.11 each. Holding the dollars is free.

It depends on the currency: a percentage plus a small fixed fee, from 0.28% on Wise's own quotes for the currencies we cover. Euros are 0.29% + $0.53, pounds 0.33% + $0.59 and Indian rupees 0.42% + $0.58 per transfer. Above $25,000 a month, Wise gives a volume discount.

Often, but not everywhere. Wise gives USD account details only to an address in a country where people can hold money with it, names 32 places with none, and gives a company run from your country only what it offers there too. Of the 100 countries we cover, 49 qualify.

For moving the money home, usually by a wide margin. PayPal's own currency conversion spread is 3%, before its fee on each payment. Wise converts at the mid-market rate and charges its published fee, under 1% for most currencies here. PayPal can take a card payment, which Wise can't.

No. Wise charges $31 once for account details, then nothing to hold money. You pay when you receive a wire, convert, or take out more than $250 a month in cash.

Up to $250 a calendar month is free. After that, each withdrawal costs $1.95 plus 1.95%. The ATM's owner may add its own fee.

Yes. Wise says it uses the mid-market rate and doesn't inflate it, and shows its fee as its own line. That's the difference from a bank or PayPal, whose margin is hidden inside the rate.
